Responsibilities

We are looking to hire at the Staff or Senior Auditor level depending on experience and skill set.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Performing financial, operational, process and compliance audits in accordance with the Audit Plan or Audit requirements of the company
  • Preparing comprehensive workpapers for each area audited, including detailed process narratives and/or flow charts
  • Assisting in summarizing audit exceptions, procedural violations, and internal control weaknesses and making recommendations to resolve issues
  • Assisting with preparation of audit report
  • Assisting with special audits or internal investigations as assigned
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address audit-related concerns

Qualifications

What you should have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in internal and/or external auditing; internal control consulting, and internal audit program development
  • Understanding of internal audit standards and frameworks such as IIA Professional Standards
  • Understanding of how to maintain and document audit workpapers
  • Basic knowledge of documenting flowcharts                                    
  • Experience in performing testing that covers various business operational audits and financial reporting controls
  • Experience in facilitating remediation efforts with business process owners
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to demonstrate effective organization, critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well with peers and department management team
  • Ability to independently and complete assigned tasks based on communicated due dates with minimal supervision
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative to accomplish work objectives
  • Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

 

Preferred, not required:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, MIS, or related field
  • Certified Internal Audit (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)

 

Base Salary: Staff Level $60,000 - $70,000, Senior Level $70,000 - $100,000

 

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based on the U.S. average. The actual base salary offered for this full-time position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience.

You will also be eligible to participate in our 401k program, starting on the first of the month following 30 days of employment with a company match.
